Rita Vilma

Born in San Francisco, Rita travelled much of the world as a military dependent which exposed her to many different cultures and environments and amplified her love of nature. Her love of art and her artistic talent was evident early in life when she was voted “Most Talented “ in her senior year of high school.

Flowers are Rita’s preferred subject to paint. They provide her with a color spectrum that is virtually limitless. She paints with oils and applies them thick to create an almost three-dimensional effect. Rita’s paintings reflect her vision and passion for flowers and have been exhibited in “Flora and Fauna” National Juried Exhibition, Arc Studios and Gallery, San Francisco; The Healing Power of Art, Manhattan Arts International, New York; Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art, Marietta, GA; & RobertKent Galleries, Marietta, GA
